mourner Massive sounding tech death. Extremely heavy and skillfully played. Plus these guys know how to write a memorable and (yes!) catchy song. Favorite track: Being/Tragedy.

YomaBarr Techy death metal that avoids hollow wankery and is catchy as all f. The lyrics are not stupid either. Wish I had found it before Bandcamp Friday. Hails.

Exsanguis 06:19
Naught, these ways, the union of time and space Divided by hatred, the truth awaits the exhumation Enveloped in a cycle of injustice against the prospect of balance restored No longer - your facade has weakened to frailty Wrath of the blight Reflecting upon decay With glazen eyes Trained upon oblivion Only one to blame Unified in this self-inflicted trauma So utterly pathetic Yet tragic beyond our faculties Must our flesh and blood merge as one? Must our voices be cut from our throats? Must we lose all that makes us real? Must we die to see paradise? No, it cannot wait This revelation of iniquity Grieve us And grieve for yourself Distraught among the wreckage and putrescence is you Our impulse, your pleasure, the bridle and bit But how can its beauty still devour our will? When all that we live for is our fucking freedom Captive Depraved Shrieking Maimed The soul, this vessel Rots away, dies across your blood-scrawled tome Ingrained, latent apathy Still suckling at marrow to fill your needs Mutilation and paradox Reduced to suffer For your pleasure At your leisure Must our flesh and blood merge as one? Must our voices be cut from our throats? Must we lose all that makes us real? Must we die to see paradise? Wrath of the blight Reflecting upon decay With glazen eyes Trained upon oblivion Lauda in finem Praise the end Lauda in finem The great scourge

Gone, the affirming embrace Left buried by fucking disdain Dissected a million different ways and yet My sanctity was slaughtered by unnatural Disruption to a shameful degree Torn away so mercilessly What I've become is a rageful shell And within the anguish I drown in my crimson bile Morbid self-mutilation proceeding The sacramental tragedy of all of my being Emptied of organs for the world to see And hollowed out, there exists no deity To blame for my falsified duality Merely the mockery of what I was to be The punishment is to sever your ties And I'll make this punishment fit the crime Ego death propagation Configured to all the waste And fucked up beyond any recognition The pain of death I must impart To you, the one, my counterpart Turn away from my hands Ignore the blood, my counterpart Take this knife into your heart Absolving my counterpart Leave behind your transgressions Ignore the blood, my counterpart Right until the end of time An impairment of the mind Fallible, inconsequential, human decadence This agony is echoed only by screams of ominous understanding Through the embrace of misanthropy, our unified consciousness decrees Only our pain can deter us from the truth Only when broken, the cycle will ensue No gods, no masters, control is for naught Through rage and through tragedy, we've murdered them all With every chance wasted To reclaim humanity We lie bare and conjoined And tear at each other's wounds This is ascendance

The transcendental plane defiled Mangled by the hands of the immortal man Treading betwixt life and death All there was and all there is - no more Repressing our cerebral capacity to define this chain reaction thus Leaving us bereft of consciousness, destroying our sentience - extinction paradigm Balance now forever displaced And spread throughout the cosmos, decay Lost to nothing more than ignorance As our violent erasure ensues Extinction paradigm Juxtaposed by insanity Left to parallel our own pain There's nothing that justifies the cause Crossed beyond the threshold of loss Ancestral and ever-present Yet a mockery of omniscience To dispose of this egotist race Invoked wrath, hive-minded disgrace Plead as we might, this is the truth The unfathomable consequences of our insolence Radiation expelled, there's no defense A supernova blast Freed at last Our audacious kind Has masqueraded as God Now from our inception Our collective toll must be paid Embrace the void and turn to ashes Burn away - this life was finite Embrace the void and turn to ashes Freed at last by immolation Embrace the void and turn to ashes Burn away - this life was finite Embrace the void and turn to ashes Freed at last by immolation

about

Of the many faults we carry along, the triumph of our cognizance still prevails. Even through the horrors of extinction and beyond. We will destroy our home and murder our counterparts along with it. Yet, when all is at a final and grim breaking point, we will laugh maniacally in the face of death, as if told the greatest joke ever uttered. We are that great metaphysical farce, and deserve everything we are owed.
